WEBBER INDIA traditional Design and Fabrication of Rotary Kilns

With the integration of the pyro activities, WEBBER INDIA carries on a tradition in the design and fabrication of rotary kilns. WEBBER INDIA supplies rotary kilns with two or three support piers. Kiln tyres and radial rollers support the kiln and transfer loads to the piers. Kiln dimensions are selected to minimize stresses and ensure a long kiln lifetime. The kilns are driven by a girth gear. Hydraulic kiln thrust rollers maintain a controlled movement of the kiln in the axial direction. Kiln inlet and outlet ends are equipped with replaceable segments. Both ends of the rotary kiln are fitted with seals to protect it against the intrusion of false air.

Our concept means you can choose to have a second set of outlet sectors ready for replacement, drastically reducing replacement time. Here’s how it works. Our system consists of permanent sectors bolted directly to the kiln shell plus one set of hanging sectors that are precast before installation. The hanging steel sectors are easy to replace and with a second set available as recommended, ready for installation, you won’t lose production time waiting for the delivery.

No waiting for sectors to dry or harden

  • Replacing a damaged sector is easy – you don’t have to wait for them to dry or harden before starting up the kiln. That can save up to two days. And during the installation of the sectors the kiln is available for turning. That means installation and maintenance are more flexible.
  • You can even manufacture your own replacement casings in your facility or at a local refractory supplier. Make them according to your own schedule, to avoid warehousing costs. They can be pre-dried, precast, and ready to install during the next shutdown.
  • And you won’t need to pay shipping costs or lose valuable up-time as your spare parts go through customs.
